Nicholas Giovanni (Gio) Yaquinto is a singer, songwriter, and guitar player based out of Atlanta, Georgia. His style of music is a fusion of soul, jazz, funk, and good old fashioned rock and roll. His sound has clear influences by artists such as John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, and Allen Stone. He tours with the soul/ funk band ‘Edgewood Heavy,’ hosts the podcast ‘Gio’s Stream Shows’ uncovering new and established artists in an intimate discussion/ performance setting, hosts the Smith’s Olde Bar weekly open mic with the ‘Gio Trio,’ and performs as a solo act all around the region. His most recent release, “Smarter,” follows as the first single since the release of his debut EP “Origins of the Heart.” He is also a founding member of the multi- media company ‘The Mosaic Group.’
