My first week in Hubbard Hall has been an extremely rewarding experience. I have met so many incredibly talented minds including performers, directors, pianists, administrators, and more. I have received so much insight from my older cast members regarding programs and job opportunities both locally and internationally, and have received even more motivation to continue pursuing a career in operatic performance. This weekend I was fortunate enough to participate in a masterclass/ mock audition for Stephens Nicolson Artists Management with this season’s Conservatory program members here at Hubbard Hall. Sarah Stephens and Mark Nicolson were both willing to share their wealths of knowledge with all of the Conservatory program members, and were extremely informative regarding some of the mysterious parts of the operatic industry that singers often question. This coming Friday will be another master class for Lawrence Edelson of Opera Saratoga.

The time spent here in beautiful Cambridge New York could not be more greatly enjoyed. The weather is perfect and the scenery is as ideal as could be. My hostess is extremely kind and supportive of our craft, and her property is a paradise.
